Raleigh native and 5x NBA All-Star John Wall officially announced his retirement from pro basketball Tuesday.
Wall was the number one overall pick by Washington in the 2010 NBA Draft, after playing one year at the University of Kentucky. He was named SEC Player of the Year in 2010, and was inducted into Kentucky's Hall of Fame in 2017.
Wall played for Washington, Houston and the LA Clippers in his 11-season NBA career.
