The NCAA says is in the process of alleging violations of sports betting rules for 13 former men's basketball student-athletes from six different schools. One of those schools is North Carolina A&T. Thursday's announcement comes one day after the NCAA revoked the playing status of three men's basketball players from Fresno State and San Jose State for sports betting infractions committed during the 2024-25 season.

The newest allegations suggest the student-athletes bet on and against their own teams, shared information with third parties for purposes of sports betting, knowingly manipulated scoring or game outcomes and in some cases refusing to participate in the NCAA investigation.

Current ongoing cases include student-athletes formerly associated with North Carolina A&T, Eastern Michigan, Temple, Arizona State, New Orleans, and Mississippi Valley. Additional cases are in various stages of the investigation process.
