Carolina Hurricanes forward Jackson Blake has been fined $2,358.94 by the NHL. It is the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slashing Anaheim Ducks defenseman Jacob Trouba. Blake earned a minor penalty for the slash, which took place midway through the third period.

Blake scored a goal in the 4-1 win over Anaheim on Thursday.

The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
