Hannah Bazemore has resigned from her role as Campbell director of athletics, and has accepted the role of senior deputy athletics director and senior woman administrator at Florida State.
“On behalf of the Campbell family, I want to thank Hannah Bazemore for her years of service and leadership,” said Campbell University President, Dr. William Downs. “We also wish her the very best as she ventures out into a new chapter and a new season in her professional journey. Campbell Athletics will move immediately to initiate the search for our next AD, and we look forward to building a culture of competitive excellence and expanding our reputation as a home for championship programs."
Bazemore guided the Fighting Camels’ athletic department since 2022, previously serving as senior associate athletics director for business and finance, as well as assistant director for business operations and business manager, joining the Campbell Athletics staff in a full-time capacity in 2010 after serving as a graduate assistant in the department.
She was officially elevated to the AD role in November 2022, dropping "acting" from her title after taking over the role on an interim basis in July.
