The Soccer Tournament (TST), the world’s premier 7v7 global soccer festival featuring three $1 million, winner-take-all competitions, Wednesday announced the groups and schedule for its 48-team men’s event, 16-team women’s event, and new 12-team mixed competition.
“This year’s festival is going to be bigger and better than ever,” said TST CEO Jon Mugar. “We have over 2,000 athletes flying in from all over the world. There will be 159 game winning goals over six days, including three million dollar goals. We have food vendors from all across the country. We can’t wait to kick off our four year stint in Cary with an electrifying and unforgettable event.”
The three tournaments will feature 76 teams, over 2,000 athletes and 159 live matches over six days at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. Participating teams represent 15 countries, including clubs from eight different professional leagues from four continents. Notable professional clubs in the 2026 event include EFL Championship’s Wrexham AFC, LaLiga’s Villarreal CF, Serie A’s Cagliari Calcio, LigaMX’s Club America, South African Premiership’s Orlando Pirates, NWSL’s North Carolina Courage, among others.
Three TST celebrity-led teams will also once again compete on the men’s side: Gerard Pique’s Kings League All-Stars, Sergio Agüero’s (previously known as Agüero Team and Seleccion Potrero), and Dreamville FC, organized by rapper J.Cole’s Dreamville Records.

Launched as an eight-team tournament in 2024, the women’s field doubled in size to its current 16-team format in 2025. The women’s tournament will feature two-time defending champions US Women. Their roster includes World Cup Champions Heather O’Reilly, Jessica McDonald and Allie Long. Solo FC, a team organized by former USWNT goalkeeper and World Cup winner Hope Solo, will also make their return to the women’s event.
Additional women’s teams include LigaMX Feminil’s Club America, NWSL’s North Carolina Courage and KC Current II, WPSL’s Austin Rise FC and 2026 MASLW Champion’s Iowa Demon Hawks.

TST Mixed, a third $1 million winner-takes-all event, will make its debut at TST 2026. The mixed format will feature rosters of men & women, shifting on and off the field throughout the match. Women will play the first and third quarters, while the men will play the second and fourth. Women will begin the Target Score Time period on the field at 7v7, and each stoppage of play will result in a switch between men and women (men will play 6v6, women will play 5v5, etc.) until the game is won.
The inaugural 12-team mixed bracket will be headlined by Landon Donovan’s Sneaky FC, Hope Solo’s Solo FC, Wrexham Red Dragons and Hashtag United. The group stage match between Solo FC and Sneaky FC will be broadcast nationally on NBC.
